From Me To You...
Undressed. Unmasked. Basic. This week is all about being natural. Real. The real you. You see the pictures on the cover this week? I’m barely wearing any make-up and I got the real hair goin’ on (with a relaxer of course). Sometimes you just need to let go, have fun, and show those freckles! Y’all know I love a beat face with my eyebrows all done and a lot of blush, but the best part of my day is when I get to take it all off. I talk about this in my Tyra Tips. How there is nothing like the feeling of a freshly washed face. So stop trying to please everyone else by being a slave to lots of make-up this week. Walk around with your head held high and show off that fabulous skin. Of course I don’t expect you to go to school or work with no make-up, but maybe on a Saturday out to the grocery store you could keep your fresh face and just add some clear lip-gloss! Think of it as a way to the inner you. Tell me how YOU get unmasked!

I have a really good idea. There is this thing for people that suffer from depression and sometimes end up killing themselves. It's called "To Write Love on Her Arms." I know that I am very sad most of the time, but I don't know if it would be diagnosed with depression. My best friend and I both have this feeling. My daily beauty regimine involves undoing my braid to comb my hair, rubbing on my rock crystal deodorant, and massaging sunscreen on my face. And that covers everything! I enjoy makeup but seldom wear it. From childhood through adolescence I was wearing massive amounts of makeup to play down my ugliness. Over the years I've come to see I am beautiful on the outside, but it's the inner-beauty I possess that's most captivating. I love what makeup does, but I feel that I should share the real me with the world. And it saves A LOT of time :)
