What just happened, y’all? Silly Mercury went retrograde all over us! This will continue until September 12th, so hang on to your hats and glasses. I try not to think of this period in such a negative way. It is a time for inner reflection. A time to purge ourselves of the habits, relationships, and belongings that do not serve our lives positively. Firstly, two things happen on September 8th. The New Moon is in Virgo and Venus (the relationship planet) goes into passionate and intense Scorpio. As I tell you every month, New Moons are for making our monthly resolutions. It’s the perfect time energetically to sit down with a piece of paper and a pen and write down your hopes and aspirations for the coming month. Try to keep this wish list practical, yet optimistic. Your desires can run the gamut from a new job to a pleasure trip. The Moon is in practical and hard working Virgo, the sign that’s good at analyzing. really put some serious thought into what you need in your life right now. Right after Mercury goes direct on the 12th, Mars follows Venus into Scorpio on the 14th and adds to intense feelings in the land of relationships. This will also be the week we are getting back to making our lives move forward, since it takes about a week to shift gears and shake off the retrograde period we just experienced. We have the Fall Equinox and Sun moving into Libra on September 22nd, shifting us from career mode to relationship mode. Balance will be super important for everyone. Then, we will experience an intense Full Moon in Aries on September 23rd. Aries always likes to shove a mirror in front of our face, so some unexpected person or situation might pop in to shake things up a bit.
Everyone needs to cut themselves some slack this month and know that progress can happen internally as well as externally. You are making strides. Keep living in your truth and reminding yourself of how much ass you kick!
