Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes is everybody’s theme for June. Jeesh, s’bout time. Everything gets a little lighter the first part of the month. That’s how it is when the Sun is in Gemini, an intellectually centered Air sign ruled by the supercharged planet Mercury. So, that will probably be the best way to attack a situation- with your brain and a grain of salt. Things should be more easygoing and digestible for everyone. Then, the Sun moves into the Water sign, Cancer, with the Summer Solstice on June 21st. Cancer is ruled by the Moon and is a deep and feminine sign that will enhance the nurturing side of all of us. The seeds have been planted and change must and will happen, whether we are ready or not. Might as well welcome it with open arms.

(May 21- June 21)
The big things I told you a couple of months ago were coming, are busting your door down. Don’t get freaked out. Keep your cool, Fonzie. A huge positive energy shift is moving from your internal world to your external one. Take things day by day in bite size chunks. You are in a period of integrating the past with the new and amazing gifts of the present and future. Jupiter enters Aries June 6th, so now Jupiter and Uranus will be effecting your long term goals. Mercury enters Gemini June 10th and hangs out there until the 25th. This will put you into another gear and a lot will be thrown at you, but no one’s more masterful than you at juggling numerous balls. June 12th will be an especially meaningful New Moon for you since it is your new year and emphasis is put on Self. Writing down your goals for the year will be important and helpful. Venus goes into Leo June 14th, making for some wonderful romantic vibes. With all you have on your plate, these feelings may feel a bit irrational to you, but speaking your heart is never a bad thing. Ground yourself and balance your time between work and play. It’s imperative that you follow your instincts this month. You love to ask trusted allies for their opinion, but decisions you make this month need to be made alone. I know change does not come easy for you nostalgic Cancers, but you have been putting a lot of thought and hard work into your endeavors, so take a deep breath and let it happen. Jupiter in Aries on June 8th throws fiery energy into your career sector. Perhaps it will inspire a brilliant new idea or it might just add frustration to your already full plate of projects. It is possible that this period will ignite you to go at it with your boss and decide to look for a new job or even work for yourself. Do not act rashly, however. Don’t hold back! This is not too good to be true. If you take time to overanalyze the gifts that enter your life, you could miss out. Starting June 6th, people you are in cahoots with will help you move towards your goals. Especially when Mars, the action planet, rolls into Virgo June 7th. The New Moon in Gemini on June 12th will give your career a boost and I am suggesting you re-evaluate your old responsibilities and projects at work. It’s time to make room for new ones. June 14th, Venus goes into Leo and lights a fire under you to initiate a bit of sexy time. Don’t think, just do it. It will be a good tension reliever. The Summer Solstice and Sun’s entrance into Cancer on June 21st might start a period of overload, so pace yourself and know your physical limits. The Full Moon eclipse on June 26th in complimentary Capricorn will give you an injection of ambition and really inspire you to get rid of the old stuff in your life that does not serve you anymore. Change is here, whether it makes sense right now or not. Take a risk and go with it. The theme for you has been relationships ever since Uranus went into Aries May 27th, and there is even more emphasis on that when Jupiter also enters Aries June 6th. You will be interacting with interesting people that will open your eyes to new ways of thinking. You are finally going to be able to come out of hiding from inside that brilliant brain of yours and expand your gifts out to the world. Do not let your neurosis keep you from fearlessly jumping into this new, bigger, brighter world. You are ready and it is the time. The New Moon in compatible Gemini on June 12th will drop many professional opportunities in your lap. Really ground yourself and hone in on the options that are right for you. Whatever, April. You left us feeling overwhelmed and annoyed. Well, Mercury wobbled us all over the place. Focusing on the little details of life and being more social are good ways to spend a retrograde. Up until May 11th, when Mercury goes direct, since the Sun is in Earthy Taurus, all three Earth signs-Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus-will mean business. Career is preoccupying your brain. But you Guys, don't get discouraged so easily. Traffic, electronic, and communication fails will happen to everybody, but you Earthy ones will take it more as a blow. You sweet Water signs-Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio- will need to look to your partner or good friends for love and support. This is the time for guilt free socializing. Yes, there is so much that needs to be done career wise, but that will probably always be true for you. You are good at career. Okay, here’s the dealio with March. The traditional expression is “March goes in like a lion and out like a lamb.” It is reversed this month. Mars, the planet that rules your masculine side, the action hero in you, has been retrograde since December and it goes direct March 10th. So that’s when all of the seeds we’ve planted will finally start to grow. The Sun has been in dreamy and super imaginative Pisces since February 19th and I’m sure there has been no shortage of ideas and great collaborative conversations going on. That’s the sweet lamb side. Even though it’s felt like we’ve had, as Paula Abdul sang, “two steps forward and two steps back,” that is not the case; more like two steps forward, one step back. There are many facets to life: times to wait, drive, socialize, brainstorm, relax, etc. You don’t need only physical activity to achieve growth. The key is to be present with your thoughts and sensory experiences so that growth happens. Trust and fully experience every aspect of your process.
