Join B.I.O. Campaign
What is beautiful? One thing I know for sure, it's not just what we see in those ads and fashion magazines and on TV - it's not cookie-cutter perfect, it's REAL fabulous. It's women who are short, tall, skinny, juicy, and what I'm calling Fiercely Real (what we used to call Plus-Sized) and it's women who are quirky, clumsy, shy, outgoing, and maybe even a little kooky. As long as women are comfortable with who they are and what they look like, I say they ARE beautiful! So now it's time to expand the definition of beauty by telling the media, and showing them, that we are all beautiful and that we're not going to sit down in that narrow little box of theirs.
The reason I created America's Next Top Model was to show the world that girls of all kinds can be beautiful. And it's not just about me doing it, y'all... it's time for you to help me, okay? Go, right now, and look in the mirror and find the beauty in you! And help your friends do it too. And then tell those magazines and websites and TV shows that they need to start showing more people who look like you!
And show us what you're doing... make a video, 30 seconds or less. Tell us your first name, where you're from, and what you're going to do to expand the definition of beauty. Promise to throw a Beauty Inside & Out event in your community, or start a B.I.O. blog, or start a letter-writing (or e-mail) campaign to your local TV station. You can also shoot video of you actually doing your thing! Then, upload it on the video player and write comments below it. Can't wait to see you! I'm going to be looking at every single one. Seriously. :)

My inspiration comes from Tyra and Antm. I've always wanted to model but also model with other girls because sometimes a group thing works better for girls with low to no confidence. I was one of those girls and am honored to have touched the lives that I have touched today. I've helped with girls with going outside their box. Breaking out of their comfort zone, standing tall for beauty. Just last year one model who I've worked with shaved her head. If I could write more I'd tell you the story about that. It's just amazing how modeling has changed lives

I am a very insecured married young lady who feels ashamed of her self and sadly my wounderful husband has to have a jealous and insecure wife. How do you get over this?????? How not hate the summer and beach days??? I have created a box were I do not come out because I am so ashamed of so many things about my self.... :(

Another way you've inspired me is that one of my dreams is to be a model but I'm only 5'4 so I thought it would never be possible but when you had the petite season of ANTM it made me determined to go after my dream, no matter what anyone says. You shouldn't have to be born a certain way to be called beautiful, but in the media it seems that way. We are all different and unique and we are all beautiful in our own ways & I wish the media could see that.
